Kimwe muri byo ni “igitekerezo cy’IBIRARI” kitugezaho amavu n’amavuko y’imiryango n’amoko yose, kitwereka ukuntu amwe muri ayo moko yakomotse kw’i-Juru (=ay’Ibimanuka-), andi agakomoka -Ha-Si- ku butaka bw’iyi “Si” (= ay’Abasangwabutaka), ndetse ngo hari n’andi yaba yaravuye mu “kuzimu”, kwa NYAMUZINDA, ariho rimwe na rimwe bita i-Butumbi. Ariko kutumva imvugo ihanitse yakoreshejwe mw’iyo migani no muri ibyo bitekerezo niho havuye intandaro yo kugoreka amateka y’uru Rwanda rwacu. I/ Imyumvire y’Abakurambere bacu ku miterere y’Isi n’inkomoko y’abantu nay’ibintu (=The Traditional Rwandan Cosmogony=).
Mbere y’umwaduko w’Abazungu mu Rwanda, Abanyarwanda ba mbere na mbere, aribo Bakurambere bacu, hakurikijwe ubumenyi n’ubuhanga bari bagezeho, bari bifitiye ubwabo uko bumva kandi basobanura ubuzima bwabo n’amateka yabo, inkomoko y’ibintu n’iy’Abantu, ndetse n’imiterere y’igihugu cyabo cy’U Rwanda. Birumvikana ko iyo myumvire yari itandukanye cyane n’iyo Abazungu badushoyemo, bakanayishyira mu nyandiko, bakanayigisha no mu mashuri, bikazagera n’aho ituma dusubiranamo kandi mu nkomoko twari abavandimwe.
Mu ntekerezo z’Abakurambere rero, iyi “Si” dutuye yari igizwe n’ibice bitatu. Igice cya mbere kigizwe n’I-Juru, icya kabiri kigizwe n’iyi “Si” yo ku butaka dukandagiyeho, naho icya gatatu kigizwe n’i-Kuzimu kwa Nyamuzinda. Kandi koko buri gice cyari cyifitiye abayobozi bakigenga n’imana zaho. Izo mpugu zose uko ari eshatu zigize “Isi” (ariyo Rwanda, kuko nubundi Isi yose ari u- Rwanda) zifatanijwe n’inkingi ziri mu mpera y’aho zihurira, ari naho bita “iyo igihugu giterwa inkingi”, cyangwa “iyo gihera”, cyangwa se “iyo bigwa”.
Abantu bose n’ibintu byose bikomoka muri izo mpugu uko ari eshatu zigize “Isi”. Abakurambere bacu bamaze kubyibazaho n’uko bashoboye kubibonera igisubizo. Ubwo buhanga bwabo, n’iyo myumvire (ari byo twakwita “the Traditional Rwandan Cosmogony” mu cyongereza cyangwa “La cosmogonie traditionnelle rwandaise” mu gifaransa), babidusigiye mu migani no mu bitekerezo kugira ngo dushobore kubyumva no kubisigira urubyaro rwacu, bityo bikaba byarahindutse umurage w’uruhererekane uko ibihe byagiye bisimburana.
Iyo myumvire gakondo y’Abanyarwanda ikaba inyuranye rwose n’ibyo Abazungu b’Abakoloni (kimwe n’abandi banditsi babakurikije) baje kwandika nyuma bavuga ko hari Abanyarwanda bavuye muri za Misri (Egypte), za Abisiniya (Ethiopia), za Kameruni, za Cadi, n’ahandi, n’ahandi… Ibyo kandi bikaba byaratewe n’uko batashoboye gusesengura neza ayo mateka bakurikije ibitekerezo gakondo by’Abanyarwanda, ahubwo bagakurikiza ibyo bavanye iwabo mu ntekerezo zabo.

Iyo bagenekerezaga rero muri bya bitekerezo byabo, bavugaga ko ibyo byerekezo by’Isi (=u-Rwanda) biteye bitya (= ibi twabyita “Science géographique traditionnelle cyagwa “Géograhie sacrée du Rwanda” mu gifaransa) :
Hari i-Burasirazuba ari ho izuba rirasira mu gitondo rivuye i-Butumbi kwa Nyamuzinda, ari naho bitaga kandi i-Buragurabana hakaba herekeza muri za Ndorwa na Karagwe, na za Bushubi, na za Bushingo, …. Aha niho tubona hakomotse ubukara bwo kwa Nkara ya Kazigaba, cyangwa se Runukamishyo w’umusinga bari bazi kuragura cyane. Ninaho hakomoka Abashambo b’i-Butumbi, n’abandi n’abandi.

Mu myumvire y’Abanyaburayi, nkuko banabidusigiye ubungubu nyuma y’ubukoloni, ibihe birasimburana kandi bikajya imbere bikurikije umurongo umwe ubudasubira inyuma (=conception linéaire du temps/linear conception of time mu ndimi z’amahanga), naho mu myumvire gakondo y’Abanyarwanda, ibihe bigenda bisimburana ariko ntibikurikira umurongo umwe ugororotse, ahubwo ibyahise bigenda bigaruka, n’ubwo biba byahindutse bidasa neza neza nk’iby’ubu, ariko bijya imbere byabanje kwinyuranamo (=conception cyclique du temps/cyclical conception of time mu ndimi z’amahanga). Mu Kinyarwanda, hari ejo hashize n’ejo hazaza, ariko hombi n’ejo. Kandi Abanyarwanda barivugira bati : “ibirenge bijya imbu kujya imbere”. Iminsi, amezi, imyaka, ingoma (z’ubutegetsi), byose bigenda bisimburana, ariko ku Banyarwanda n’ubwo iminsi yose idahwana ariko irasa. “Ingoma zihora zihindura imirishyo”. Urubyaro rw’ubu rushushanya “abakurambere”. Ninacyo gituma, akenshi mu Banyarwanda, amazina yo mu bisekuru akunda kugaruka. Ubwo mu bazungu bita abana babo amazina ya ba se, mu kinyarwanda, umwana ahubwo ashobora kwitwa izina ry’umwe mu basekuru be.
No mu mihango, Abanyarwanda bemera ko, nyuma y’ibisekuru bine, icyiciro gishya cy’Abakurambere kiba gitangiye, nubwo kiba gishushanya igishize. Ninacyo kitwumvisha impamvu yatumaga Abanyarwanda bakora imihango yihariye iyo ibyo bisekuru bine byabaga bihise. Aha twavuga nk’imihango yo gusenda abazimu, ibintu bigatangira bundi bushya. Mu mihango y’i-Bwami niho bigaragara cyane. Nko mu bami b’Abanyiginya, tuzi uko amazina y’ibisekuru yakurikiranaga: Cyirima cyangwa Mutara, Kigeli, Mibambwe, Yuhi. Mu bami b’Abega bo mu Bumbogo, hari: Mumbogo, Nyamurasa, Musana, n’ahandi n’ahandi aho byakurikijwe.
II/ Ururimi rw’imigani y’incamarenga: (Myths, Legends, Symbols and Parabols)

III/ Igitekerezo cy’IBIRARI
Igitekerezo cy’IBIRARI giteye gitya :
Kera hariho umwami wo mu gihugu cyo kw’i-Juru akitwa Nkuba ariwe Shyerezo. Uwo mwami akaba yari afite abagore benshi, umwe muri bo akitwa Gasani. Ibiramambo n’uko uwo Gasani yaje kuba ingumba, bigatuma umugabo we atamwitaho cyane kimwe n’abagore bandi. Umunsi umwe Gasani aza guhura n’umukecuru w’umupfumu akitwa Impamvu. Umukecuru ati reka nkuragurire : “Ugiye kubyara umuhungu kandi uwo muhungu azaba igitangaza (ikirangirire)”. Gasani ati: “byashoboka bite se da, ko maze igihe kirekire naragumbashye ?”. Impamvu ati: “igihembo wampemba ntikiruhije. Upfa kunyihera icyo kwambara n’ikintunga, nkaza ngatura mu rugo rwawe noneho nkazakwereka uko ubigenza”. Gasani yemera ibyo Impamvu amubwiye, amujyana iwe, amushyira mu bandi baja akamubonera icyo kwambara n’icyo kurya.
Bukeye, Impamvu abwira Nyirabuja ati: “ubajishe igicuba cy’umurinzi, maze muri icyo gicuba cy’isugi uzashyiremo umutima w’ikimasa cy’imana yeze, maze ujye ukibuganizamo amata buri gitondo, na buri mugoroba.”.
Muri iyo minsi, Nkuba aza kubagisha ikimasa cyo kwiraguriza. Abapfumu bamaze kucyorosora, bakibara amabara basanga cyeze. Nibwo bajyaga mu nzu kubibwira Nkuba. Igihe bagihugiye muri ibyo, Impamvu abwira Gasani ati : “genda wibe uriya mutima wacyo maze uwushyire muri cya gicuba ubuganizamo amata”.
Amezi icyenda ashize, barebye muri cya gicuba basanga akana keza k’agahungu kareremba hejuru y’amata, bati: “muvuze impundu, Gasani arabyaye!”. Nibwo batumye kuri

Nkuba ngo aze yite umwana izina Gasani yabyaye. Nkuba ararahira. Ati: “uwo mwana si uwanjye, ahubwo nibamwice amvire aho”. Gasani n’umuja we barabimenya noneho bakajya bamuhisha kuko abazaga kumwica bangaga kwiteranya na Nyina ahubwo mbere yo kuza bakabanza kumuburira. Umwana yiberaho, ariko aherako akura bugubugu, kandi uko akura agakura aba mwiza cyane, ndetse asa na Se, Nkuba ariwe Shyerezo. Ubwo Gasani yari yamwise Sabizeze (=Saba-izeze).
Inkuru zikomeza kugera kuri Shyerezo bati: “ufite umwana mwiza rwose utaraboneka mu bantu”. Nawe ati: “ko nategetse ko bamwica, byagenze bite ? Nibagende bamwice, simushaka ntabwo ari uwanjye”.
Bikomeje gutinda nibwo yatumagayo abagaragu be ngo abe aribo bamwica. Arabanza atumayo Abatwa. Baragenda, bagezeyo babonye uko asa, batinya kumwica. Baragaruka babwira Nkuba bati: “uwo mwana ni mwiza rwose ntawatinyuka kumwica”. Arongera yoherezayo Abahutu. Bagezeyo bati: “muzane uwo mwana tumurebe”. Nyina akamutumaho aho yabaga yagiye kuragira inyana za Se. Ati: (nko muri ya ndirimbo) “Ye Sabizeze, Ye Sabizeze ya Sabiyogera, ngwino urebe abambari ba So baraje”. Umwana araza ageze aho, abahutu batangarira ubwiza bwe. Nibwo basubiragayo bajya kubwira Shebuja Nkuba bati: “uwo mwana ni mwiza ku buryo twebwe tutabasha kumwica”. Noneho yoherezayo Abatutsi, ati: “mugende mumwice”. Bagezeyo, Nyina yongera kumuhamagara kwa kundi aho yari aragiye inyana, ati: “Ye Sabizeze, Ye Sabizeze ya Sabiyogera, ngwino urebe abambari ba So baraje”. Abatutsi bamukubise amaso basanga ari mwiza koko kandi asa na Se. Nibwo basubiye kwa Nkuba, bati: “Nyagasani, wa mwana ni mwiza rwose kandi murasa pe, ku buryo kumwica byaba ari nko kukwica nawe ubwawe”. Nkuba ati: “reka nzigirayo ubwanjye maze ndebane n’uwo mwana”.
Bukeye ashyira nzira no mu rugo rwe rwo kwa Gasani. Sabizeze amukubise amaso, yiruka aza amusanga. Nkuba arebye uburanga bwe, abonye n’ukuntu asa nawe, aherako agira impuhwe, aramuterura, amushyira mu gituza cye, amwita Imana. Kuva ubwo amushyira mu bana be.
Sabizeze yibera aho, akomeza gukura vuba kandi aba mwiza; atangira kuragira inka za Se, akajya no mu ruganda rwa Se agacura. Ariko aho aragiranye n’abandi bana, akabarusha muri byose, ari mu kumasha, ari mu gukirana, ari mu kwiruka, mbese muri byose. Ubwo ariko kandi, yaba ari aho mu rwuri, yakubita inyana akayigusha, yakubita umwe muri bene Se, akaba aramugushije. Nibwo abantu batangiye guhwihwisa, bati: “ariko uriya mwana ni muntu ki ?. Kandi bajya bavuga ko atabyawe nk’abandi!”.
Koko rero, ba bapfumu bari bararaguriye Gasani (ari wa mukecuru Impamvu cyagwa bwa Bukara bw’Ubuzigaba), bari bamuhannye bati: “ntuzahirahire ngo uvuge uko wabyaye uyu mwana, kandi n’ubivuga uzahita umubura”.
Bikomeza kugenda bityo, koko ntiyabivuga. Abandi bagore b’inshuti ze bamubaza akaryumaho. Ariko umunsi umwe Nyina aza kumusura. Nuko baraganira bigera n’aho baza kugusha kuri Sabizeze. Nyina ati: “harya uriya mwana utagira ukwasa ngo wamubyaye ute ma? Ko numva ngo na Se yabanje guhakana ko atari uwe!”. Gasani abanza kwanga kumena rya banga, ariko Nyina akomeje kumwinginga, ageraho amutekerereza uko Sabizeze yavutse avuye

mu mutima w’ikimasa cy’imana yeze. Nyamara ariko, ubwo umutwa wa Sabizeze akaba yari yaje kubumviriza ngo yumve icyo umukobwa aganira na Nyina. Amaze kubita mu gutwi, nibwo yirukaga ajya kubibwira Sabizeze. Ati: “Mwana wa Databuja, noneho namenye igituma ujya uturusha muri byose. Burya ntabwo wavutse kimwe n’abandi. Ngo wavuye mu mutima w’ikimasa. Kandi ngo ntabwo wabyawe na So Shyerezo!”.
Sabizeze abyumvise ararakara cyane. Ati: “murumva ukuntu Gasani yagiye kumbyarura, avuga ko ntari uwa Data. Ubu singishoboye kuba muri iki gihugu bajya bavuga ko ndi ikibyarirano”.
